He’s the Communications Director for SHRM NYS as well as Immediate Past President of the Capital Region Human Resource Association (CRHRA), where he serves with the Board of Directors in delivering learning, networking and collaboration opportunities to their 600+ member community. He’s presented at SHRM NYS, DisruptHR, CRHRA, numerous regional HR associations, the Capital Region Recruiters’ Network, and a variety of commercial organizations on the power of Leadership Development, Company Culture, and Employee Engagement initiatives.

Tom received his Master of Science in Education Theory and Practice from the University at Albany, with a specialization in Curriculum Design and Instructional Technology. With his origins in academic publishing, he’s enjoyed blending the instructional design components with his human resources background in delivering customized content to his clients. Growing up in an education household, he’s lived the lifelong learner mindset through his career and continues to share that philosophy with others through an energetic and inspirational style. He’s a CultureTalk Certified Partner, a graduate of the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Saratoga program, and has continued to partner with and participate in learning opportunities wherever possible.
