Elaine Chung is a leadership strategist and author of The Illusion of Authenticity. She helps leaders build connected, high-performing teams by rethinking authenticity, alignment, and what makes us most human. Drawing from neuroscience, organizational behavior, and the science of play, she transforms how teams collaborate, lead, and grow—like kids do: curious, resilient, and wired to learn together, especially at the edge where discomfort meets the breakthroughs teams need most. Elaine has partnered with Nike, Sony, PBS, and the U.S. Navy’s innovation arm, NavalX, and is a national speaker, including TEDxAsheville, SHRM National, and the Association of Talent Development.

She is passionate about training the next generation of leaders and lectures at UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business on Leadership Blueprints and Negotiations. A graduate of Duke University and USC’s Marshall School of Business, Elaine can often be found on her Peloton or on new adventures chasing curiosity and exploration.
