Johanny Jacobson is a strategic HR executive with over 20 years of experience in building the organizational infrastructure that helps mission-driven organizations scale and thrive. She currently oversees the insurance operations for New York State at the American Arbitration Association (AAA), where she has worked for nearly 12 years. Her focus areas include HR strategy, regulatory compliance, and organizational development. Throughout her career, Johanny has engaged in full-cycle HR generalist work, employee relations, benefits and leave administration, HRIS/ATS implementations, and multi-state compliance. She spent 12 years at the Fashion Institute of Technology (SUNY), where she managed union contracts for a workforce of over 1,800 employees.

Johanny has a master’s degree in Organizational Behavior from NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering and a bachelor’s degree in Production Management from the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT). She is certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and a Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP). Johanny actively participates in NYC SHRM, where she has served on the Board of Directors and contributed to the mentoring program.
