The Social Media Committee promotes chapter growth and communication by leveraging the use of social media to channels like Twitter and LinkedIn to engage and inform members and non-members about the goals, activities, and contributions of our organization. Members of the Social Media Committee contribute to the New York City SHRM blog, promote events via their personal or New York City SHRM twitter account, provide relevant HR information and engage in discussions via various channels.
